Sorry I haven’t kept up to date: 8/20/21
Good morning everyone hoping everyone has a good day. Tonight is Fun Friday tournament time. Lately it’s been pretty sparse since bars and establishments started opening and running tournaments. As the virus has started to increase again I am offering this venue to play online tournament. It just scares me on the number of exposures and the number of people seeking testing. I speak from experience since I was exposed twice direct contact. It’s been nerve wracking just trying to get an appointment. I will run this tournament if I get enough players – take the time to read the instructions for sign up if you are new. There will be regulars that can help you with the process once started. Announcements for April

Special 6 Week April – May Round Robin Tournament starts on Sunday April 18 and goes on till May 23rd. This doubles or remote doubles capped at 21 and no handicap. It will consist of 13 games to be played weekly – you will have Sunday to Sunday 6 AM to play your match against your opponents and report your scores. There is no entry fee for this tournament – there will be a pay out based on the number of games won. I will email the format and pay out schedule once your team has signed up. **must have Granboard to play

Starts 10/31/20 Ends 11/30/20 Since many of you have different time schedules and are not always available to play and may want to participant – this will be run with rounds being played weekly (Sunday-Saturday). You will be able to schedule your matches with your opponent each week. This way you can still play weekly tournaments on Friday and Saturday

Once you are registered for the category you are obligated to play:

Single Elimination – No Handicap – Best of 5 *if your rating is high 5 or 8 or 11 you have the option of playing in the higher brackets. If you feel that you can compete with the higher players, by all means enter – I know that some of the ratings on your cards does not reflect your true capabilities in tournament play.

Rules: Winner of the match will update Win/Loss

When your match is on the tournament bracket screen you have 1 week to set up your match with your opponent at a time when it is convenient for the both of you.
If at the end of the week you have not been notified by your opponent, or your opponent has not responded to your attempts of scheduling the match it will be forfeited after you have notified me and I attempt to reach them before, I update the bracket sheet.  You can move onto the next round for the following week.

1. On the tournament page click on Matches then the tournament this will show you tournament brackets
2. You can then establish chat with your opponent to begin your match go to My Matches click on your match tab shows lobby click on that to call your opponent(this will help the players that do not have messenger)
3. Once completed go to My Matches click on report put in the results then click the blue report button.
Please be considerate and respectful to all players – we have different time schedules to meet and I would like this tournament to run smoothly.

10/31/20 8 PM Closes
(Sunday thru Saturday to play match) till 11/30/20

You will have 1 week to schedule and play your match. Each Round will be determined by the number of players in each category. In some cases the tournament will not last 1 month but this will give people chances to play who may have different work schedules from each other. You can get a hold of each other via messenger – texting – email. If you need help let me know and I will put you in contact with your opponent.

Example: Round 1 starts 11/1/20 to 11/6/20 Round 2 11/7/20 to 11/13/20 until all rounds are completed. You can schedule your matches starting 10/31/20 after 8 PM if you like. If you need help with the scoring I can do it for you since we may have new players not familiar with the process.
